What a Sunday is like
The things people actually wonder
How long is it?
About an hour and fifteen minutes, start to finish. Stay for all of it or slip out early — either is completely fine.
What do people wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in — jeans and a t-shirt are what you'll see most weeks, and nobody's paying attention either way.
What actually happens?
A few songs together, a message, and time to talk afterwards if you feel like sticking around. Nothing more complicated than that.
Will I be put on the spot?
No. You won't be asked to stand up, introduce yourself, or give anything. You're free to just be there.

Finding us
We meet in a school
Valley Community Church does not have its own building. Sunday services are held in the gym at Sni-A-Bar Elementary, so look for the school — not a steeple.

Bringing children

Valley Kids Club runs at the same time as the main service, so your children are in their own space while you are in the room.

Still wondering
Questions people ask us
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely — more people do than you'd expect. Come in, sit wherever feels comfortable, and take it at your own pace. You'll be made welcome without being put on display.
What if I have never been to church before?
Then you're in good company — there are others here doing exactly the same thing. There's nothing you need to know beforehand and nothing you'll be expected to say. Follow along if you want to, or just sit and take it in.
What if my child will not separate from me?
That's completely normal, especially the first week or two. They're welcome to stay with you in the service for as long as they need — and whenever they're ready, Valley Kids Club will be glad to have them.
Is the music loud?
There's a full band, so it's got real energy to it — but nothing that'll leave your ears ringing. Some people sing along, some just listen, and both are completely normal here.
